ABOUT US

CoffeeCraftGuide.com is an independent coffee resource covering equipment reviews, brewing guides, brand reviews, and specialty coffee education for buyers in the USA, UK, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada.

We launched because we noticed a gap in the coffee information available online: most English-language coffee blogs are focused exclusively on the US market. UK buyers searching for advice on Sage machines, Australian buyers looking for flat white-specific guidance, and New Zealand buyers trying to find subscriptions that actually ship to them were consistently underserved.

Our focus is on five Tier 1 English-speaking markets simultaneously, with region-specific recommendations, pricing, and product availability for every country we cover.

What We Cover

Buying Guides: Espresso machines, coffee grinders, cold brew makers, kettles, scales, and accessories with separate recommendations for USA, UK, Australia, and New Zealand buyers where products, pricing, and availability differ.

Brand Reviews: In-depth reviews of specialty coffee brands and subscription services, with verified pricing and confirmed shipping to each country we cover.

Brewing Guides: Step-by-step technique guides for pour-over, AeroPress, French press, cold brew, and espresso with exact ratios, temperatures, and grind settings for each method.

Informational Guides: Science-backed articles on coffee health effects, caffeine content, specialty coffee education, and coffee culture across our target countries.

Interactive Tools: Free calculators and reference charts including the Coffee to Water Ratio Calculator, Coffee Grind Size Chart, and Daily Caffeine Calculator.

Our Research Methodology

We do not receive free products from manufacturers in exchange for reviews. Our research process:

Review analysis: We systematically analyse verified purchaser reviews from Amazon US, Amazon UK, Amazon Australia, JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman, PB Tech NZ, and other major retailers. Review counts and overall ratings are noted for context.

Specification verification: Every product specification we publish is cross-referenced against official manufacturer documentation and, where relevant, Specialty Coffee Association brewing standards.

Community reference: We draw on the collective experience of specialty coffee communities including r/espresso (200,000+ members), r/Coffee (4.7 million members), Home-Barista.com, and Coffee Snobs Australia.

Scientific sourcing: For health-related articles, we cite peer-reviewed research from PubMed, the USDA FoodData Central database, and guidance from the FDA, NHS, and WHO.

Price verification: All prices are verified from official brand websites and major retailers at the time of publication. Prices change frequently always check the linked product page for the current price.

Our Country Coverage

USA: The largest coffee market we cover. Focus on Amazon Associates links, US-specific brands, and North American brewing culture (Keurig, drip coffee, cold brew).

UK: Dedicated UK sections in all buying guides with Amazon UK links, Sage machine coverage (Breville’s UK brand name), UK-specific roasters, and hard water guidance for English buyers.

Australia: Dedicated AU sections with Breville AU coverage, flat white culture, local roaster recommendations, and AU retailer links (JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman, The Good Guys).

New Zealand: Covered alongside Australia with NZ-specific retailers (Noel Leeming, Harvey Norman NZ, TheMarket.co.nz) and NZ specialty roaster recommendations.

Canada: Covered in subscription guides and buying guides with CA-specific shipping information.
